Last week, I woke up one day and just really wanted to make myself a vegan burger. I also decided I wanted an Italian style burger with the same tofu cheese that I always make myself. I visualized the vegan burger, then I actualized. Here it is. Also, I don’t know what I’m doing. oops.

  1. TIP for first time users of TVP, if you want it to taste better and more “beefy” get a powdered “beef stock” soup mix that is vegan, mix enough in with hot water, then add the TVP to it to cook in the flavour of the “beef” soup you made to flavour it. Brown the tvp a bit after theres no water left, which will make it taste a lot better — THEN add the tomato sauce.

  2. If you cook with coconut oil, it has a higher heat point. It won’t burn your food. 😊 Olive oil does not have a high heat point. It gets too hot really quick & burns stuff. 🙈
